This policy applies to gimpsoftware.org, an Windows-focused editorial website. It does not apply to the official GIMP project or third-party destinations linked from this site.
The web server and security provider may process IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referring page, time, and diagnostic events to deliver and protect the site. We do not ask visitors to create an account.
Our own download control may use a separate delivery service. Direct links labeled as the official GIMP project lead to gimp.org and are not intercepted. Those services apply their own privacy terms.
Essential storage may be used for security and site operation. If analytics or advertising is introduced, this policy and any legally required consent controls must be updated before activation.
Technical logs are retained only as needed for security, diagnostics, and legal obligations. Contact messages are retained long enough to respond and keep a record of corrections. Use the contact page for privacy questions.
